Wiki says: The Hot Tub is a Hot Wheels casting resembling a hot tub. Due to its full-metal construction Hot Tub is often seen as a prime choice for downhill racing.

The casting was retooled in 2021, losing the metal base and gaining a new plastic base; this plastic base has all the originally hollow parts of the base filled in; this is likely for ease of manufacture. The casting also gained a plastic spoiler and the engine was cast into the body. The seat and steering wheel are also now part of the tub and the wing, seat & steering was also moved outwards against the tub walls.
