Hot Wheels Wiki says: The Lotus Motor Sport Elise is a special race-prepared version of the Lotus Elise, intended for competition usage. Power is supplied by a 1.8L Rover K1800 inline-4 producing 137 BHP with a specially tuned exhaust mated to a close-ratio 5-speed manual. Many features are absent on the Motor Sport Elise in an attempt to save weight & increase responsiveness. 65 are believed to have been produced.

The casting was given a major retool in 2021. The casting now features a post-post design as opposed to a tab-post design, a metal wing cast into the body, different contouring & a much lower front bumper & ride height.
FTE or Faster Than Ever is a line of Hot Wheels Wheel Types.

Cars with this wheel had special nickel-plated axles, reducing friction and increasing the car's speed. It is always the same "bronze" color. FTE wheels are essentially the same wheels as the OH5SP but differ in color and axle. Due to the additional operation of nickel-plating the axles, these wheels are more expensive to produce than wheels on normal axles; both sets of wheels were no longer used by 2013.

The original FTE wheels were designed by Tim Parsey and Nathan Proch.
